EASY-RAIL is a modular designed single guardrail which is currently available in two versions with a post distance of 2 m and 1.33 m. The system EASY-RAIL 2.0 has been tested directly on the slope and has achieved optimal values (N2-W3-ASI A). The optimal relation of working width and kg/m makes EASY-RAIL 2.0 one of the most efficient N2 barrier systems currently available in the world.

The System
The idea of EASY-RAIL 2.0 is based on the common single guardrail (ESP) and its design is identical to EASY-RAIL 1.33. The barrier beam, which is stronger due to the higher quality of the steel used for production, enables a lower deflection of the system.

Places of Installation
The system has been tested for containment level N2 and has a working width of W3 at an ASI of category A. EASYRAIL 2.0 can replace the traditional guardrail systems ESP 4.0 and ESP 2.0. The system is also perfectly suitable for installation on narrow shoulders and on danger spots very close to the driving lane. Another advantage of EASY-RAIL 2.0 is the possibility to install the system next to a slope as VR had booked a crash test set-up with slope.
